The turn filled Medrano up and the river sealed the double-up for Medrano.

After Ian Auvil limped in middle position with , Bogdan Zavu moved all in for 300,000 with .
Chip leader Chris Davis then just called in the big blind with , a move that could potentially lead to his demise.
That's because the flop came , bringing Auvil a set. Better yet for him, Davis then moved all in with his kings for 1,700,000 effective, and of course Auvil happily called.
The board completed with the and , Sending a huge pot to Auvil, and almost secondarily, eliminating Zavu.
Davis meanwhile is still alive, but on the short stack.

The final nine players are on an extended break to do interviews as preparation for the final table is underway.
They will return at 6 p.m. ET to play down to a winner, continuing on with 8:26 remaining in Level 25 and blinds of 25,000 / 50,000 with a 50,000 big blind ante.

Nick Sims moved all in from under the gun for 330,000, as did Miguel Medrano in the big blind for a very similar stack.

The flop came instantly bringing trips to Medrano. The on the turn gave Sims some hope with a gutshot straight draw, but the on the river filled up Medrano.
After the chips were counted up, Sims was left with just 5,000 chips.
He spun it up to 50,000, but then shoved his under the gun into Ian Auvil's , and after a runout, last year's third-place finisher was eliminated in 10th place.
