A player was all in for around 20,000 and Ariel Suchecki was the one to put her at risk just moments after doubling up on a previous hand.

The board ran out and the aces held to secure the knockout for Suchecki, who had expressed disappointment in the PokerNews team for covering her early bustout.
"Make sure you get this one in there," Suchecki said as she dragged the pot.
Apparently the hand was a bit of a fiasco before PokerNews arrived.
"I nearly knocked over a waitress," Suchecki explained. "Put that down, too."

The final tally for Day 1b is 159 entries and a prize pool of $45,792. The grand total prize pool comes out to $128,648, from which the winner is guaranteed at least $40,000.

Welsh is from Austin, Texas and she is the lone representative of the Kontender's Poker Club. She was recently diagnosed with terminal cancer and her brother offered to take her on a trip anywhere she'd like, so Welsh chose Bar Poker Open and they're both spending the weekend at Palm Beach Kennel Club. This is her fourth BPO event.
