Left short stack after the her all in with big slick, Ellen Schirmer moved all in from under the gun for 12,000. Eddie Torres called late position. Both players revealed their hands and Torres stated that he "liked to play his hand."

Early position raised to 1,000 and the button raised to 4,800. William Perkins called from the big blind and Schirmer moved all in for 30,100. The button folded and Perkins called for less (18,500). Both players revealed their hands.

The following hand, Schirmer opened from middle position to 1,800 and took down the pot before the flop.
Shirmer joined BPO through the Deepstack Poker League. She hopes to make Day 2 and will wear her leagues jersey if she manages to battle through Day 1b.

The flop came and the small blind checked. Under the gun checked to Beland who fired for 4,000. Neither contesting player made the call.
Beland qualified into the BPO by playing in the affiliate league of the Easter Poker Tour.

After the turn peeled the , Theroux checked to Campernik. He fired for 2,000 and was rewarded with the pot.
The following hand, Campernik raised to 600 from under the gun. Middle position and the button called.
The flop came and Campernik continued for 1,200. Middle position raised to 3,000 and only Campernik found the call.
As the turn came the , Campernik fired for 2,000 and won the pot. Campernik joins us as part of Team NLH from Atlantic City.
